I would like to commend him for the thickness of bone he has.

Rising S Cowboy Rides Away ~ Owned by Rising S Ranch (West Warren, Utah) ~ DOB: 12-19-16 ~ DOLP: 03-23-17
Judge's comments: This is my 1st place buck for most closely representing what a myotonic buck should look like. He supports the heavy muscling and wide body on a thick bone and straight legs. He is long bodied and has a level top line. He is balance and smoothly blended. I have to commend him for his large scrotum but still appropriate sized for his age.

Entry #5 ~ Points Earned = 4.0
Triple-T Samson ~ Owned by Bucking Adoeable Fainters (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 12-07-15 ~ DOLP: 03-28-16
Judge's comments: My 2nd place buck screams buck when you look at him. He is very square on his legs and stands wide. He doesn’t have the muscling the buck ahead of him has and I would like add a little more length to his neck and legs to balance him out to place him above the goat ahead of him. However he is still nicely muscled and packed with power.

Entry #3 ~ Points Earned = 3.5

Judge's comments: My 4th place goat is long bodied and smoothly blended down the neck through his shoulder. He is wide in the chest. He doesn’t have the width or muscle the bucks ahead of him shows, but he too has a masculine buck look.

Entry #2
L&O Farms Elmo ~ Owned by L&O Farms (Liberty, PA) ~ DOB: 02-04-17 ~ DOLP: 05-16-17
Judge's comments: My 5th buck is nicely muscled, but not as balanced. He is narrow through the chest floor and front shoulders. He is standing on straight legs but would like to see the toe tighter together especially at his young age. He does stand wide and straight on his hind leg and is nicely muscled we just need to extend that width out to the front as well.

Judge's comments: My 6th place buck is deep bodied with a level top line. I would like to add width and muscle to place him higher in his class.

Entry #1
L&O Farms Chase ~ Owned by L&O Farms (Liberty, PA) ~ DOB: 02-04-17 ~ DOLP: 05-16-17
Judge's comments: Our 7th place goat is not showing the capacity or width the goat ahead of him has. He is standing straight on his front legs but he too is narrow through the chest floor and front shoulders. He also slightly splays his toes outwards in the back. He does have a level top line pass the withers.

Entry #7
Oogie Boogie ~ Owned by Hush Hill Fainters (White Samon, WA) ~ DOB: 01-08-17 ~ DOLP: 05-21-17
Judge's comments: My 8th place goat is standing wider in the chest than the goat ahead of him, however I am unable to see his legs or feet and body to judge on confirmation. I do want to comment on this boys flash however I am unable to judge or give points on flash.

Entry #6
Vader ~ Owned by Bewosca Farm (Lebanon, Oregon) ~ DOB: 02-14-17 ~ DOLP: 05-20-17
Judge's comments: My 9th place goat falls behind the 8th place goat for the same reason. I am unable to see the goat well enough to judge it. From what I can see he seems to be standing on thick bone and has a nice myotonic head.

I would like to clean up his legs and feet and see a tighter toe at this age. He also is splaying outwards on the hind leg. I would like to commend him on his length of body.

Judge's comments: Jr. Champion, out of all out junior bucks he most closely represents what a myotonic buck should look like. He supports the heavy muscling and wide body on a thick bone and straight legs. He is long bodied and has a level top line. He is balance and smoothly blended. Judge's comments: I am staying in the same class for my Reserve Jr. Champ. He is full of power and packed with muscle already for his young age. He is wise and square.
